The voting lists for the Walter Payton Award given to the top player in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision were announced Nov. 24 and EWU’s Vernon Adams and Cooper Kupp are both on the ballot.
Adams was the 2013 runner-up and Kupp won last year’s Jerry Rice Award given to the top freshman in FCS. In addition, head coach Beau Baldwin is on the voting list for the Eddie Robinson Award given to the top coach in FCS.
The winners will be announced Dec. 15 at The Sports Network FCS Awards Banquet and Presentation....
