Robert E. Grogan

Robert E. Grogan, age 90, passed away Oct. 18, 2014 in Spokane with his children by his side.

Robert was born Nov. 24, 1923 outside of Cheney to William and Hilda (Dybdal) Grogan. He was a graduate of Cheney High School, class of 1941. In 1951, he married Jeanne Proctor and together raised their children on a farm outside of Cheney.

Robert was a lifetime farmer and rancher. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Jeanne Grogan; children: Renea Grogan, Ronald Grogan (Jennifer) and Michael Grogan (Sherry); grandsons: Robert and Travis Huber; granddaughters: Britney and Megan Brownlee and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Spokane.  A memorial service will be held at Cheney Funeral Chapel, Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. Visit online guestbook at cheneyfuneral.com
