The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office announced the recipients of the 2014 Sheriff Community Oriented Policy Effort (SCOPE) Volunteer of the Year Award.
Winners are listed by name and station: Hal Halvorson, Central Valley; Claudia and Rex Lowman, Cheney/EWU; Marc Emery, Deer Park; Jeanette Fletcher, East; Marge Hallenius, Edgecliff; Terry Erickson, Elk; Tom Prior, Liberty Lake; Carla Davis, Medical Lake; Judy Clark and Vicki Gish, Mounted Patrol; Jim Ball, Newman Lake; Carol Plzak and Myron “Sonny” Blixt, North; Barbara Davis, Southeast Spokane County; John Kirsten, Spring Hill; Jim Snider, University and Harley Gordon, West Valley.
Halvorson received the Spirit of SCOPE award. Evelyn Hancock, Bob Grinnell and Jim Davis received the SCOPE Life Time Achievement Award.
