Prior to its Sept. 16 meeting, the Medical Lake City Council held its annual budget workshop to discuss the financial outlook for next year. City Administrator Doug Ross explained that there will not be much difference between last year’s budget and this year’s.
“The city’s revenues are relatively flat every year,” Ross said. “That’s good and bad. We don’t have some of the luxuries that other cities have for large capital purchases, but we also don’t live and die by sales tax.”
