Medical Lake Kiwanis holds information meeting Oct. 22

The Medical Lake Kiwanis is holding a meeting Oct. 22 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Pizza Factory meeting room, with free pizza and drinks.

Come find out what the local club does and how you may assist your community in providing programs for our youth and senior citizens. Bring you thoughts and ideas.

Libraries closed this Friday

All Spokane County Library District facilities will be closed Friday, Sept. 26, for annual staff training day. Regular hours resume Saturday, Sept. 27.

Camp fundraiser Sept. 27

Camp CoMia is holding a fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 27, at 5 p.m. at the camp, located at 14815 S. Antonian Road.

This year’s theme is “Mexican Fiesta.” Come and enjoy homemade enchiladas, refried beans and rice. There will be live entertainment and a silent auction to complete the night.

Tickets are $25. Call Margie Lindner at 235-4614 for reservations.

‘Who’s Got?’ dinner theatre

StageWest’s dinner theatre performance of “Daddy’s Dyin,’ Who’s Got the Will?” is this Saturday, Sept. 27. Dinner theatre tickets are $25 per person and reservations are required by Friday, Sept. 26. Call Kathleen Bell at 235-2441 for reservations.

Regular performances are Friday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. All performances are at Emmanuel Lutheran Church located at 639 Elm St. in Cheney. The final weekend of performances is Oct. 2-4.

AA group meets in Sprague

The organization Alcoholics Anonymous is holding meetings every Tuesday evening in Sprague. The first meeting is Oct. 7, and begins at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 213 S. C St., on the corner of Third and C streets.
