$290,219 road work should be completed by month’s end
The Medical Lake City Council held a special meeting, Sept. 10, to award the Brooks Road Overlay project to Inland Asphalt Company for $187,400 for construction costs.
City Administrator Doug Ross explained that the total cost of the project is $290,219. According to Ross, the city will only have to pay $10,460 while the rest of the project is funded through Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) grants.
“The board has been great to us, specifically our regional representative Gloria Bennett,” Ross said. “She’s been great for the city.”
