Congregants are reminded of the special meeting on Sunday, Aug. 17, to approve the nomination of Jane Yarwood as Children’s Ministries portfolio holder. A quorum is needed, so please be there.

We are a welcoming and vital church.  On Sunday, Aug. 31, it’s “barbecue day.”  The church council will provide a barbecue lunch for all attendees after the 10 a.m. worship service. Invite some friends.

The church council met Aug. 10. They approved the nomination of a new financial secretary, Steve Taylor.  Plans for the upcoming Sunday School year, which will begin Sept. 14, were discussed. The council accepted the resignations of Jerry Hilton as financial secretary and Cliff Tiedt as music director.
