Bob Vercic

Bob Vercic was born in Los Angeles, Calif. Jan. 6, 1947, the oldest of three boys raised by Leonard and Marie Vercic. He attended St. John Bosco High School where he was the quarterback and the shoeless kicker known as “The Toe”. Bob started dating the love of his life, Mary Anne, often with her baby sister Alice tagging along.

Bob married Mary Anne June 21, 1968 and over the years had three daughters, Julie, Christy, and Beth. Bob was a born salesman who excelled in the transportation industry and worked all over the country.

In 2004, Bob and Mary Anne moved to Medical Lake and found a little piece of heaven. Bob was happiest when the house was packed with family and friends. He loved fishing and the company of his loyal dog, Caezar.

Bob passed away on July 26, 2014 at the age of 67 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Marie. Surviving relatives include his wife Mary Anne; his daughters Julie, Christy, and Beth; their husbands Cliff, Rick, and Chris; his grandchildren Chelsea, Chandler, and D.J .; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alice and Joe; and nephews Cameron, Austin, Gabe, and Tonio.

A Christian wake service will be held Friday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Medical Lake.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 708 East Lake Street, Medical Lake, Wash. 99022 to support church repairs and improvements which Bob worked to support over the years.
