United Church of Christ

Did you realize that the creation story that was placed first in the Bible is there for a specific reason? It emphasizes that the holy book is all about God who created the universe and rested on the seventh day, and is not all about man who named the things that God created?

All are welcome to hear such important Christian truths in pastor David Krueger-Duncan’s teachings. He also will lead the open communion service during the 10 a.m. worship service at UCC located at 423 N. Sixth St.

Child care is available in the nursery from 9:45-11:15 a.m. Please join friends new and old for the fellowship hour following the service. We welcome everyone with goodies and mull over the latest ideas and news among friends.

On Saturday, Aug. 9, Ray Whitfield’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by a reception hosted by the women’s fellowship.

United Methodist Church

Sunday morning worship is at 10 a.m. At the United Methodist Church. Worship will be led by The Rev. Alissa Bertsch Johnson who will continue a sermon series on the parables of Jesus.
