Cheney Farmer’s Market
The Cheney Farmers Market is open every Tuesday from 2 – 7 p.m. from now until Sept. 23 in the City Hall parking lot. There will be plenty of fresh local produce along with handmade arts and crafts.
Kiwanis triathlon canceled
The Medical Lake Kiwanis Triathlon scheduled for Aug. 2 at Waterfront Park has been cancelled.
Cheney Junior Rodeo

Windsor Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School Aug. 4-8. Sessions for children pre-school through sixth-grade are daily from 9 a.m. — noon. Sessions for youth and adults are each evening at 6 p.m.

Services for veterans
The Washington State Veterans Cemetery is holding an interment service, Friday Aug. 8, at 3 p.m., for approximately 45 veterans that were recovered through Missing in America, a national unclaimed remains program that works to identify and inter veterans. The ceremony will be interring veterans from all five branches of service.
