July 13
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 800 block of Cedar Street.
A cellphone found at Fish Lake was turned into the Cheney Police Department.
July 14
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1300 block of Third Street.
A civil dispute was reported on the 1400 block of Gary Street. The dispute was over child custody.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2100 block of First Street. A handbag and beach items were taken from a vehicle.
July 15
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. Cash was taken.
A passport was reported lost on the zero hundred block of B Street.
Monte A. Bauer, 58, was arrested on the 2700 block of First Street for a hit and run/unattended.
Domestic violent/verbal dispute was reported on the 1600 block of Fifth Street.
July 16
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2200 block of Eleventh Street.
Officers took a report of child molestation on the 600 block of Elm Street. The incident happened sometime in April.
A cream colored bicycle was found on the 2200 block of First Street.
A 17-year old male was arrested on the 2100 block of First Street for fourth-degree assault.
July 18
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of Fifth Street. A car was egged.
Residential burglary was reported on the 1600 block of First Street.
Rape by force was reported on the 1300 block of First Street. The incident occurred in early June.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. A car was covered with fruit.
July 19
Residential burglary was reported on the 500 block of Oak Street.
Residential burglary was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street.
July 20
Pierre L. Borders, 20, was arrested on the 900 block of Washington Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
Rick L. Shatler, 48, was arrested on the 1000 block of First Street for third-degree DWLS.
Jordon A. Murataya, 24, was arrested on the 2600 block of First Street for third-degree DWLS.
Thomas C. Stone, 62, was arrested on the zero hundred block of Ninth Street for felony harassment/domestic violence and felony possession of a firearm. Suspect had an injury that required treatment and was admitted into a local hospital.
A mental health issue was reported on the 300 block of Vine Street. The subject was involuntarily committed.

Abuse was reported on the 400 block of East State Route 902.
June 16
Theft was reported on the 700 block of East Lake Street. A TV and electrical equipment were taken.
A threat was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
June 18
Theft was reported on the 300 block of East Herb Street. A Mongoose bicycle was taken.
June 20
Brittany P. Davis, 24, was arrested on the 100 block of East Lake Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
A suspicious person was reported on the 700 block of North Howard Street. An unidentified male was looking into windows.
AIRWAY HEIGHTS
July 16
A suicidal subject was reported on the 10400 block of West Highway 2.
A vehicle theft was reported on the 1700 block of South Hayford Road.
A juvenile was arrested on Highway 2 and Ziegler Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Joshua N. McFarland, 34, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a first-degree trespassing charge.
Justin A. Battle, 34, was arrested on the 2300 block of South Hayford Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Nicole D. Roman, 22, and Rian D. Heller, 26, were arrested on Lawson Street and Ninth Avenue for first-degree trafficking in stolen property and second-degree theft.
July 17
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.
July 18
Third-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of Lundstrom Street.
July 19
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 10800 block of West Sprague Avenue.
A domestic dispute was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Brian L. Riley, 29, was arrested on the 11900 block of West Highway 2 on warrants for Department of Corrections escape and first-degree trespassing.
July 20
Paul A. Rimar, 22, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
A burglary was reported on the 13000 block of West McFarlane Road.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1100 block of South Aspen Street.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 800 block of South Ziegler Street. The juvenile was found later that day.
A vehicle theft was reported on the 1600 block of South Lyons Street..
Teresa A. Pope, 26, was arrested on the 1700 block of South Hayford Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
July 21
A juvenile runaway was found on the 1100 block of South Aspen Court.
Identity theft was reported on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street.
A recovered stolen vehicle was reported on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
