Former Eastern Washington University defensive back T.J. Lee had two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, to help the British Columbia Lions defeat the Calgary Stampeders 37-13 in the team’s final Canadian Football League preseason game June 20 at B.C. Place Stadium in Vancouver.

Lee stepped in front of a Drew Tate pass and returned it 15 yards for a third-quarter touchdown and a 31-13 lead.

Vancouver finished the preseason 2-0 and now prepares for its CFL opener June 28 when Edmonton and former EWU Eagles J.C. Sherritt and Matt Nichols visit Vancouver.
