The city of Airway Heights is wasting no time in searching for a replacement for Barron Williamson’s position on the City Council, which will be vacant after June 30.
Williamson resigned his position from the council at the June 2 meeting. Williamson moved to Airway Heights back in 2006 and served on the city’s Planning Commission before being elected to the council. He left Airway Heights after taking a new job in Atlanta.
