Cheney’s boys and girls track and field teams continued a busy schedule with a pair of meets last week. The Blackhawks traveled north to Deer Park for a Great Northern League meet Thursday with the Stags and East Valley, and wrapped up the week with the annual Mooberry Relays Saturday at Rogers High School in Spokane.
No team scores were available at press time for the GNL meet. Individually the Cheney girls were led by Kinsey Pease’s first-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 120 feet, 9 inches.
