CHENEY
April 7
A blue scooter was found on the zero hundred block of Sixth Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A bicycle was taken.
An I-pad was found outside and brought to the police department then returned to the owner.
April 8
An orange bicycle was found on the 2600 block of First Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A blue bicycle was taken.
Joe D. Rivera, 46, was arrested on the 200 block of Sixth Street for forcible rape. An investigation is continuing.
Cheney Police Department assisted the Spokane County Sheriffs Office at the Cheney Trading Company parking lot on a vehicle-prowling incident. Cheney Police Department arrested the driver of a vehicle, Ronald Ricci, 24, for third degree driving while license suspended. Ricci and several occupants of his vehicle were arrested by Spokane County Sheriffs Office deputies for vehicle prowling.
April 9
Domestic violence-verbal was reported on the 3100 block of Meadow Glen Lane.
April 10
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 800 block of Cedar Street.
Vincente Baez, 23, was arrested for obstruction on the 100 block of West 3rd Street.
April 11
Tyler J. Howells, 21, was arrested for third-degree assault at the Cheney Police Department and two counts of fourth-degree assault at Zips.
A runaway was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. The child was recovered in Spokane.
April 12
Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Fourth Street. Cash was taken.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. Georgia license plates were missing from a vehicle.
Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Eighth Street. A gray bicycle was taken.
April 13
Jonathan M. Busto, 19, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and obstructing on the 500 block of F Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Fifth Street. A UPS package was taken.
A hit-and-run was reported on Normal Park Street. The collision actually occurred at Carl’s Jr.

April 7
Harassment was reported on the 1100 block of North Edna Street.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street.
April 8
Vehicle theft was reported on the 800 block of East Campbell Street.
An argument was reported on the 1100 block of South Ziegler Street.
April 10
Harassment was reported on the 900 block of East Stanley Street.
April 11
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. Officers made contact with the juvenile and brought her home.

April 9
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1100 block of South Ziegler Street.
Possession of stolen property was reported on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
An agency assistance was reported on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Serenity R. Oswald, 24, was arrested on warrants for third-degree theft and prostitution and for possession of a controlled substance/oxycodone on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Donald D. Cochran, 43, was arrested on two felony warrants for delievery of a controlled substance on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
April 10
An abandoned vehicle was reported on Aspen Street and Whitetip Avenue.
An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 200 block of North Molly Mitchell Road.
Brittany E. Salsbury, 28, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
April 11
A traffic accident with injuries was reported on Highway 2 and Hazelwood Road.
Lovett J. Aldridge, 53, was arrested for third-degree theft/shoplifting on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
Michael A. Smith, 30, was arrested on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape community custody and for for first-degree DWLS, possession of a dangerous weapon, and making false or misleading statements to a law enforcement officer on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
April 12
Candi M. Nelson, 35, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply on a charge of third-degree DWLS and for third-degree DWLS on Sixth Avenue and Hayford Road.
Lillie M. Broxson, 63, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 1200 block of South Garfield Road.
Shawnkey M. Taylor, 37, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
April 13
Bernell L. Henderson, 49, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
April 14
Officers recovered a stolen vehicle that occurred on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
