Johnson wins in 100 at Deer Park Invite
Tellas Johnson got a win in the 100-meter run clocking a time of 11.46 seconds and earning Medical Lake’s lone individual victory April 4 in the Deer Park Invitational track meet.
Cameron Peake ran a 42.20 to finish just behind 300-meter hurdles winner, Riverside’s Tristan Downing in time of 42.03.
Medical Lake’s 4 X 100 relay team of Jared Wright, Jackson Tappero, Peake and Johnson finished third in a time of 46.15 seconds to Deer Park at 45.83 and Freeman’s 45.95. The 4 X 400 relay team with Domenic Rehm replacing Wright, was also third.
Elijah Farmen threw the javelin 143 feet, 4 inches, good for third behind the 148-3 of Deer Park’s Jeremy Beal.
Rehm was third in the 3,200 meters in a time of 10:01.77 with Jacob Dingfield in fourth with a 10:08.73.
Mariah Pena clocked a 12:13.41 to finish third and ahead of Maleeka Wegner’s 12:27.50.
