ML library book sale
“Spring” in to the Medical Lake Library Book Sale, April 11-12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and sponsored by the Medical Lake Friends of the Library.
Proceeds are used to support children’s programs and other activities at the library that the Spokane County Library District do not cover.
Medical Lake Easter dinner
April Showers won’t stop Feed Medical Lake from serving a free meal consisting of baked ham, yam, and green bean supper with Easter candy cups for dessert, April 14, from 5-6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, on 223 S. Hallett St.
ML welcomes Knudsen
ML Friends of the Library welcomes local author T.G. Knudsen to speak at their April 14 meeting.
The meeting starts with refreshments and a social at 12:30 p.m. followed by a presentation by local author Knudsen, who is the author of “Warrior of the Mist: A Title Suggested by Lucullus Virgil McWhorter : A Biography of Qualchan Chief Owhi’s Son.”
Everyone is welcome. The club meets in the M.L. Library Meeting Room on 321 E. Herb St.
Gardeners of Cheney meeting
The Gardeners of Cheney meets Monday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sessions Village Center, Cheney Care Center. The guest speaker is Doreen Harter on “Gardening for Life-Adaptive Gardening.” Guests are always welcome.
