PEO Chapter AJ at its regular meeting Wednesday, March 5 presented EWU senior Martee Shafer with a “Program for Continuing Education Grant” in the amount of $1,800.00. Shafer is a geography major studying water pollution in the Spokane River and will graduate in June. Shafer is from the Spokane area and a single mother of two children.
