Alpha Xi Delta spaghetti feed

Alpha Xi Delta at Eastern Washington University will be holding its annual spaghetti feed to benefit its philanthropy, Autism Speaks, Friday, March 7 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Alpha Xi Delta house. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door.

Come have some wonderful food as well as taking part in a silent auction/raffle table. All proceeds go to Autism Speaks. Come out and support the philanthropy.

ML Friends of the Library read Jennifer Worth

The Medical Lake Friends of the Library will be discussing Call the Midwife:  A Memoir of Birth, Joy, and Hard Times by Jennifer Worth, March 10 in the Medical Lake Library Meeting Room on 321 E. Herb St. The event will start with a social hour and refreshments at 12:30 p.m., followed by a book discussion at 1 p.m.  Everyone is welcome. Anyone who needs directions can call 509-893-8330.

Feed Medical Lake dinner

Feed Medical Lake will hold its monthly dinner, March 10 from 5 - 6 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 223 S. Hallett St. The theme for this is “Go, fly a Kite.”  On the menu will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables and cake. Anyone who cannot make the dinner hour can call Joanna Williams at 509-714-1150 after 4 p.m. to order a takeout meal. Callers should specific how many plates they need and what time they will pick up their food. There will also be free groceries at the dinner. All are welcome.

‘Beginning Bird Watching’

The Friends of Turnbull announces an upcoming new series of classes for families and individuals 8 to 80, called “Beginning Bird Watching.” The class takes place once a month on the first Saturday (except July 12) at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge from March 8 – July 12 at the refuge’s classroom building.
