NJHS holds cookie fundraiser for child cancer

The Medical Lake Middle School Junior National Honor Society (NJHS) held a “Cookies for Cancer” fundraiser to raise money for childhood cancer research.

According to the NJHS’s constitution, schools are required to participate in a service project each year.

Judy Dunbar, co-adviser to the Medical Lake Middle School NJHS, said the students wanted to raise money for the American Childhood Cancer Organization of the Inland Northwest for this year’s project.
