Jan. 27

An attempted suicide was reported on the 1600 block of Fifth Street. The individual was voluntarily committed.

Identity theft was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.

First-degree theft and possible elder exploitation was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street.

Demetrius D. Dennis, 36, was arrested on a local warrant arrest at Cheney Municipal Court for failure to appear and third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).

Tracey F. Hawkins, 23, was arrested on the 400 block of North Fifth Street for drawing, displaying and intimidating with a weapon.

Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of West First Street.

A mental case was reported on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 600 block of Second Street. A note was taped to the door of City Hall.

Jan. 28

A 15-year-old male was arrested for third-degree shoplifting and trespassing on the 2700 block of First Street.

Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.

An incorrigible juvenile was reported at Betz Elementary School.

Jan. 29

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street.

A keep the peace was reported on the 1000 block of Second Street.

A mental issue was reported at Cheney Middle School.

Jan. 30

A 16-year-old was arrested for harassment at Cheney Middle School.

A road rage incident was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.

Domestic violence/harassment was reported between ex’s on the 200 block of Nolan Brown Place.

Aaliya C. Johnson, 19, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 1500 block of Washington Street.

A 14-year-old female was arrested for fourth-degree assault at Westwood Middle School

Jan. 31

Maurice C. Mutonga, 20, was arrested for alcohol involving a minor and attempting to purchase using false identification on the 1100 block of First Street.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of Buena Vista Street. There was damage to a car.

Feb. 1

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the zero hundred block of Second Street.

A purple bike was found on the 2700 block of First Street.

A road rage incident that started in Spokane was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.

Feb. 2

Second-degree assault was reported on the 100 block of K Street. An EWU student was admitted to the hospital and the case is currently under investigation.

Marquios D. Olsen, 19, was arrested for a minor in possession of alcohol on the 700 block of Third Street.

First-degree assault was reported on the 100 block of Fourth Street. An EWU student was stabbed and taken to the hospital. Incident is under investigation.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Seventh Street. X-Box games were stolen.

Brent J. Lee, 36, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street.

Benjamin V. Smith, 23, was arrested for a loud party on the 300 block of College Avenue.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.

Jan. 27

Assault was reported on the 2300 block of Salnave Road.

Theft was reported on the 1000 block of North Howard Street. Two bicycles were taken from a garage.

Assault was reported on 22800 block of East Country Vista Drive.

Theft was reported on the 400 block of North Brower Street.

Jan. 29

Assault was reported on the 200 block of North Barker Street. The incident has been referred to juvenile court for prosecution.

Harassment was reported on the 400 block of North Grant Avenue.

Jan. 30

Theft was reported at the 500 block of North Grant Avenue. Mail was stolen.

Harassment was reported on the 400 block of East State Route 902.

Jan. 31

Domestic violence was reported at the 200 block of East State Route 902. Suspect left prior to officers arrival.

Feb. 1

Abuse was reported at the 700 block of East Lake Street.

Domestic violence was reported at the 600 block of North Lefevre Street.

A traffic accident with injuries was reported on Hayford Road and 12th Avenue.

Riley M. May, 23, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 200 block of South Hayford Road.

A recovered stolen vehicle was reported on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.

Jan. 31

Vehicle prowling was reported on the 1100 block of South West Drive.

Vehicle theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Daniel R. Olson, 56, was arrested for domestic violence no-contact order on the 12800 block of West Highway 2.

Feb. 1

Bennie L. Bane, 58, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 200 block of South Hayford Road.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 10400 block of West Highway 2.

Joshua D. Baldonado, 26, was arrested on warrants for second-degree assault and third-degree assault/domestic violence on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Feb. 2

Vehicle prowling, third-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief were reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Fourth-degree assault/domestic violence was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.

Adolpho Robinson, 22, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Brenda D. Boggess, 47, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
