StageWest’s latest production of Robin Hawdon’s “Perfect Wedding” is a typical, hilarious British farce involving an obscene number of slamming doors.
The morning of his wedding, the groom wakes up in his hotel suite with an unknown girl who turns out to be the best man’s new girlfriend. The groom and best man (not knowing who the girl is) spend the first act trying to hide the situation from the bride and get the chambermaid mixed in.
It gets more complicated once the girl’s identity is revealed and the maid, best-man, bride and bride’s mother start putting all of the pieces together. There are adult situations and mature audiences are suggested.
