Blackhawks fall to Freeman, Lakeside in hoops action

The season’s second win is proving elusive for the Cheney High boys’ basketball team. The Blackhawks lost a pair of games last week to Northeast A League opponents, 76-57 Friday night at Freeman and 71-55 the next day at home to Lakeside.

Cheney dug themselves early holes by starting slowly in both games, outscored 21-9 by the Scotties and 17-9 at home against the Eagles in the first quarter.
