Frigid temperatures didn't keep a nice crowd of over 100 Cheney children and adults from enjoying singing carols and lighting the city's Christmas tree at the annual tree lighting event last Thursday. Members of the Cheney Youth Commission stood by to serve hot cocoa, coffee and cookies at the Cheney Library.
