Government shutdown closes Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge

The federal government shutdown due to budget battles in Washington, D.C. has taken a local flavor as U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service offices announced Oct. 1 that the Turnbull and Inland Northwest National Wildlife Refuge Complex office will be closed to the public. The office is located on the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, located out of Cheney off Cheney-Plaza Road.
