Aug. 12

Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. A 16-year-old male was arrested for stealing candy.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 500 block of First Street. A wallet was taken from a motorcycle.

A Honda dirt bike was taken without the owner’s permission on the 700 block of Villard Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1500 block of Fourth Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 800 block of West First Street.

Aug. 13

A silver necklace was found on the 100 block of West Seventh Street.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of West Second Street. A car was damaged.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 600 block of Chestnut Street. Graffiti was painted on a building.

Aug. 14

Second-degree burglary was reported on the 300 block of Betz Road. A purse and its contents were stolen.

Aug. 15

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Tires were reported slashed.

Joann I. Murphy, 20, was arrested for a second-degree felony misdemeanor on the 800 block of Oakland Street.

Aug. 16

Harassment was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. A computer and a PlayStation were taken from a motorcycle’s saddlebags.

A two-car, non-injury collision occurred on the 300 block of Oakland Street.

Aug. 17

Carolyn M. Strand, 34 was arrested on a warrant for a Spokane County felony Department of Corrections warrant.

Aug. 18

Residential burglary was reported on the 2300 block of Lilac Court. The garage was entered but nothing was taken.

An attempted suicide was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Individual was voluntarily committed.

Aug. 19

Cody R. Bray, 25, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended on the 100 block of West First Street.

Aug. 11

Officers responded to a pulled fire alarm on the 600 block of North Grant Avenue.

A juvenile runaway was reported on the 800 block of East Barker Street. Officers located the female and returned her home.

Officers located and arrested a male juvenile runaway for a misdemeanor warrant on the 100 block of South Lefevre Street.

Aug. 12

Richard Boyd, 52, was arrested on a warrant for violation of an anti-harassment order on the zero hundred block of Columbia Street.

Aug. 13

Officers responded to an argument call on the 500 block of South Cheatham Road.

Officers responded to a male juvenile runaway on the 900 block of East Campbell Street.

Aug. 14

Officers responded to a domestic violence call on the 500 block of North Brower Street.

Officers responded to a reckless driving call in the area of West Fourth Street and North Lefevre Street.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on the 700 block of North Stanley Street.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 100 block of South Broad Street.

Aug. 17

Officers assisted with a reported fight on the 300 block of First Street in Cheney.

A suspicious person was reported on the 800 block of South Hallett Street. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Gregory F. Tuck 30 was arrested for third-degree theft (shoplifting) and a warrant for theft on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Officers took a report of a vehicle prowling on the 11800 block of West Center Lane.

Officers took a report of a vehicle prowling, second-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief on the 1200 block south of Garfield Street.

Officers took a report of a domestic violence no contact order violation on the 600 block south of King Street.

Clarissa S. Kellerman 20 was arrested on a warrant for third-degree theft and John A. Reyes, 21, was arrested on a warrant for escape community custody and second-degree robbery on the 12600 block of West Highway 2.

Susan I. Gehring 50 was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence on the 12400 block of West Frank Street.
