The Cheney Care Center’s planned senior apartment project hit a snag when it was learned that the city had not yet signed off on the project’s traffic plan. The project needed access to North Sixth Street that had to conform to private road width regulations.

An underestimation of the total costs for the SR 904 safety project put some parts of the project in jeopardy. The original $250,000 cost estimate had risen to just over $336,000, but the city offered to pay the difference.
