Dennis Alnutt

Dennis Alnutt

Dennis West Alnutt (1947-2013) passed away peacefully on June 27 with his daughter Cinnamon and his granddaughter Crystal at his side. He resided in Spokane for many years, married his fourth-grade sweetheart Samantha Gai in 1968 (divorced 20 years later), then built a home in Cheney where he resided until his death.

He was preceded in death by his father Toby and his mother Gloria "Pinki," who was said to be the first female bartender in Spokane. He is survived by his daughter Cinnamon Alnutt, his stepdaughter Natalie Cerbini, who he raised as his own, granddaughters Chelsea Wright and Crystal Day, his brother Mike and his wife Carol.

Dennis joined the Marine's when he was 17 and later served in Vietnam. When he got out of the service he worked at Kaiser Aluminum, then went to work for the Milwaukee Railroad until they shut down. He then went to Fairchild Air Force Base and worked on their railroad system as a civilian.

Dennis was a Christian so we all know we'll see him again in a better place. There will be no funeral service.
