Cheney’s planned projects this summer are many, but small

If it’s summer – almost – then it must mean it’s time for street projects, and this year the city of Cheney has several slated for the hot months.

The largest of the single projects is the $375,000 North Sixth Street preservation project that is funded mostly through federal grants. The project scope includes new asphalt surface along with sidewalk repairs including upgrades to be compliant with American with Disabilities Act requirements from Betz Road to Oak Street.
