Ryan Stradling

Ryan Thomas-Keith Stradling, age 19, passed away on May 25 in Portland, Ore. after a seven-month battle with brain cancer. He graduated from Banks High School in 2012 where he began musical training that instilled his ambition to one day becoming a professional percussionist. Ryan attended the summer jazz workshop at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, and displayed amazing talents as a drummer. Ryan’s large Stradling family deeply grieves the loss of an outstanding son, brother, grandson, uncle and cousin. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather Dale Stradling. He is survived by his father Mark Stradling of Hillsboro, Ore.; his mother Regina Stradling of Banks, Ore., brothers Nicholas Stradling of Portland and Jeffrey Stradling of Hillsboro, niece Alexis Ryan Stradling of Portland, grandmother Esther Stradling of Cheney, uncles Tom Stradling of Spokane and Randall Stradling of Seattle, aunts Roxanne McCormick of Airway Heights, Rhonda Stradling Lara of Wenatchee and Dianne Stradling Denenny of Cheney; cousins Danielle Harris of Spokane, David and Derek Denenny of Cheney, Seth and Jessica Stradling of Spokane as well as numerous mentors and friends.

Funeral services and burial provided by Duyck and VanDeHey at the community church in Banks, Ore. Saturday, June 1.
