Lutheran Church

All are welcome to join us this Sunday June 2, for the Second Sunday after Pentecost. Christian education classes for grade school through adult begin at 9 a.m. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by fellowship at 11:30.

This Sunday we will welcome new members and celebrate our high school and college graduates during our lunch potluck.

Mark your calendars. Emmanuel Lutheran Church will hold its Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19. Emmanuel will host children entering grades 1 through 6 this fall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Plan to bring a daily sack lunch. St. Rose Catholic Church will host children 3 through 5 years of age from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the same dates as above. Please plan to join the fun.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

All are welcome. We are a welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

June 2 is the second Sunday after Pentecost. Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside. Child care is available.

As part of our campus ministry, our Eastern Washington University college students are offering a place to study for finals in the quiet of the Parish Hall, providing snacks and coffee, today, Thursday, May 30, from 6-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday and Thursday June 5 and 6, also from 6-9 p.m.

Also a reminder for college students: Please come and enjoy good food, fellowship, discussion and study each Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Narcotics Anonymous meets in Parish Hall each Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. Fellowship breakfast is each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in Parish Hall. Join us for good food, fellowship and discussion. Come and bring a friend.

United Methodist Church

Join us for worship this Sunday morning at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. Worship will be led by Rev. Terry Hall and will include the celebration of Holy Communion. Sunday school classes for all ages will meet at 9 a.m. this week and then will recess for the summer months.

UMC will join other area faith communities in celebrating the graduating class of 2013 at Baccalaureate at 7 p.m. at Cheney High School Sunday evening.
