Gone Green

The Cheney Middle School Pathways clsss posses with the flag it received in recognition for efforts to get the school certified as a Washington Green School. Through composting and recycling efforts the class, assisted by teacher Joni Kent (middle row right) and paraprofessional Keri Kelton (next to Kent holding plaque) and building custodian Sharon Sage (back row middle), achieved a Level 1 rating, one of three schools out of 10 in Spokane County to do so.
