Embracing societal improvement

As our society has decayed over the last 35 years or so, and with national level politicians unable and/or willing to transfer at least half of their political and social power directly to the American people, it may be time to consider a 360 degree turn in our thinking and consider putting a philosopher who possesses a high degree of wisdom into the White House. This proposal is made with a genuine and serious tone.
