StageWest presents a classic comedy about murder and tea

A time-honored stage and big screen classic is up next on StageWest Community Theatre of the West Plains’ performance schedule. “Arsenic and Old Lace” by Joseph Kesselring and directed by Kay Byron Pacheco begins a three weekend run Friday, April 26 and concludes Sunday May 12.

The entire play takes place in the living room of the Brewster home. Sisters Abbey and Martha Brewster are two charming and innocent ladies who populate their cellar, with the help of their nephew Teddy who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt, with the remains of socially and religiously “acceptable” roomers.
