Family history symposium focuses on generations
The second annual family history symposium, “Remembering Generations,” will be held Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10405 W Melville Road, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Family Search Center. The symposium is open to the public, free of charge, including lunch for registered participants.
Twenty classes are available for various interest and skill levels; from beginner classes, introduction to several family history computer programs, instruction in creating a family newsletter or family heritage cookbook, and many more. One-on-one computer help is available with the “Geek Squad” throughout the day.
