Melode Hall focuses on preserving memories

Little things, like an announcement heard on the radio, can change the direction of a life. Melode Hall listened, was intrigued by what she heard and opened the door to something new and rewarding.

She is known as an elite leader/Instructor for Creative Memories and a 2012 Achiever in Circle of Excellence for the organization. “I’ve helped thousands of people over these past 24 years,” she said. “I’ve put Spokane on the map by being in the top 10, 10 times for different awards. I’ve earned 20 incentive trips around the world. It’s a wonderful business.”

Was she shy at first? Oh, yes. Melode left it all behind as she saw how people were frustrated with their photos and didn’t know what to do with them. “We teach you how to organize pictures, how to tell the story that goes along with them,” she said.

Creative Memories is a home-based business. Hall is an independent consultant. She said, “You can have a party at your house or at mine.”

Hall was honored as the featured business of the month for the West Plains Chamber of Commerce. She said, “On Feb. 27 I had an open house for members of the West Plains Chamber. I had hands-on activities to demonstrate what people can do with our supplies. You could sit down and make a card using our tools. It was great fun.” She has a studio in her home, with a ramp to the lower level, no stairs. “It’s like a store,” she said. “I’m open three days a week, 9-6 p.m. The address is 1807 S. Geiger Blvd, Spokane.”

The organization has a helpful newsletter. Hall trains others to have the same business.

“We have lots of albums, embellishments and tools; plus the entire digital line. People are amazed at the quality and ease of using the tools. You can learn the tricks and tips to creating an album fast. I’ve made one in an hour and 45 minutes.”

Hall reminds people, “Your albums permanently record not only what you do, but who you are. You will reminisce, you will be entertained and you will feel proud. It is a great joy to offer my personal assistance and guidance on your album projects. May your albums be a continuous celebration of your life.”

Just a simple announcement on the radio blossomed for Melode Hall into an exciting and rewarding business. What wonderful path might be waiting around the corner just for you?
