The Cheney Middle School FBLA team competed Feb. 6 in Spokane. Three students competed and qualified for the state competition to be held in Spokane April 26-28.

Hannah Spakousky placed third in Digital Design, Houston Moczulski fourth in Parliamentary Procedure and Alexa Brooks fourth in FBLA Policy and Procedure. Other team members included Alecia Brooks, Brooklyn Spencer, Kristie McGourin and Trevor Babcock. Cheney Middle School was the only middle school competing with 18 other high schools in an event that had 560 students attend.

The CMS FBLA adviser Tammie Schrader said the team did a great job representing Cheney Middle School in the new chapter’s first ever FBLA completion.
