Four Cheney Parks and Recreation Special Olympic basketball teams competed Jan. 26 at a regional tournament in Pullman, bringing home silver medals and ribbons. In their first year of competition the Team Skills group earned a silver medal. The Individual Team, competing in shooting, dribbling and passing, and the Unified Team – who played four games on Saturday – also both earned silver medals in their brackets.
