Leasing less expensive than buying
The Cheney Police Department’s three new 2013 Ford Interceptors should enable law enforcement officers to better deal with severe weather conditions in responding to all calls for service, coming equipped with all wheel drive.
The Cheney Police Department now has three new patrol vehicles capable of going just about anywhere.
The department took possession through a lease agreement with Systems for Public Safety, located in Lakewood, Wash., of three 2013 Ford Police Interceptor SUVs. According to a news release the Interceptors are all wheel drives with a 3.7 liter, 304 horsepower engine with improved crash-worthiness, pursuit-rated components throughout along with a wider wheelbase, bullet-resistant doors and modern law enforcement electronics.
