Finally – Lady Hawks win at Clarkston

Cheney notches first road win against the Bantams since 1993


It may not be the same Clarkston team that won the 2A state girls basketball title last week, but that didn’t make the Cheney Lady Hawks win over the Bantams last Friday any less sweet.

Cheney had one of its best offensive nights this season, shooting 49 percent from the field – including 62 percent from 3-point range – and hauling down 16 offensive rebounds, rallying from a four-point halftime deficit to down Clarkston 66-62. It’s the Lady Hawks first win in the Bantams home gym since 1993.
