Medical Lake wrestlers hit home stretch

Medical Lake took a 4-4 dual meet record, and a strong Bronze Bracket finish at last weekend’s River City Duals into the final two weeks of the Northeast A League wrestling season

With a make-up Jan. 16 where the Cards faced Kettle Falls in a match postponed after a snowstorm Dec. 20. Thursday the Cards travel to Suncrest to face Lakeside and then wrap up NEA competition at Chewelah, Jan. 23. Medical Lake hosts the district meet Saturday, Feb. 2.

Last Thursday the Cardinals rolled over an undermanned Newport team as Ricky Petersen at 132-pounds and Taylor Dormaier (145) each won by pins...
