Dec. 7-8 matches give good results for Cheney wrestling

Now that its first two matches in the books, the Cheney High School wrestling team has made some great strides in establishing its senior leadership.

The team traveled to Aberdeen for a Dec. 1-2 tourney against a large number of regional teams, and walked away with a several first-place wins and close finishes. Out of the 18 on the trip, 16 took part in the tournament.
