CHS Toy Drive will benefit the Tree of Sharing

This holiday season Cheney High School student leadership clubs will work to help community families in need by hosting a school wide Toy Drive to benefit the Tree of Sharing. Five of the school’s clubs have challenged each other to a contest to see who can raise the most toys for the cause.

The clubs competing are DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA and Spanish Club.

The goal will be to be the club with the most toys gathered. The winning club will earn bragging rights and a trophy to show off in their display case.

The clubs are starting to gather toys Nov. 19 and will take donations until the end of the school day Dec. 14.

Anybody interested in helping the clubs gather toys can donate them at Cheney High School in the name of their favorite club. This will help make a child’s Christmas while supporting club member’s goals of gathering over 500 toys.

Tree of Sharing’s most needed toys are games, sports items (Nerf balls, soccer balls, etc.), Legos, books and art supplies.
