Details on a house fire Sunday, Sept. 9 are being held while the case is currently under investigation.
Spokane County Sheriff's Office public information officer Craig Chamberlain said fire investigators and major crimes detectives are currently reviewing the fire, which took place near Brooks Road and Martin Street in Medical Lake.
“Residents of Medical Lake don't need to worry,” he said. “This isn't going to be a reoccurrence there. We're confident in that.”
Investigators are being thorough in their examination of what happened at the house, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Publication of an official press release regarding the fire remains on hold, Chamberlain said, until some details are solidified.
“I don't know when investigators will be able to release more information,” he said. “It depends on the status of the investigation.”
