St. Paul's Episcopal Church

The Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost, Eucharist at 11 a.m., Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside. Child care is available.

The college Monday night dinners will resume Monday, Oct. 1, 5-6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Narcotics Anonymous meets in the Parish Hall each Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.

Fellowship breakfast every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Join us for good food, fellowship and discussion. Come and bring a friend.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Gather for worship at Emmanuel Lutheran Church this Sunday, Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost. Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Emmanuel is participating as one of many “drop off” destinations for the communities “Coats4Kids” coat drive through Thursday, Oct. 19. Please bring your gently used coats and place them in the box at the back of the sanctuary.

Emmanuel will host StageWest Community Theatre's production of “Harvey” on Friday and Saturday Sept. 28, 29, Oct. 5, 6, 12, and 13 at 7 p.m. Sunday matinees will be at 3 p.m. on Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14. Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and students.

United Methodist Church

Please join us for worship at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. The Rev. Terry Hall will lead the worship service. Child care is provided.

Christian Education classes for all ages are at 9 a.m. for children and youth and our adult Bible study begins at 8:30 a.m.

United Church of Christ

At the Cheney United Church of Christ Pastor Joan Sulser will be speaking on the theme from Mark 9:30-37, “First in Line,” at the Sept. 23 worship service and all are invited to attend. The Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. with childcare available in the Christian education building from 15 minutes before the service to 15 minutes afterward. School-age children are invited to go to class in the Christian education building partway through the service or to attend the entire service with their parents. During the fellowship time after church, friends new and old will chat over coffee and goodies. Remember, on Sept. 30 the Fifth Sunday celebration involves a delicious apple festival.
