Annual Cheney Coats 4 Kids community coat drive begins Sept. 10

The annual Coats 4 Kids/Cheney Community Coat Drive is underway.

Coats can be donated at any of the local Cheney School District schools or at many local churches and businesses beginning Sept. 10. All of the coats are being cleaned at Scollards.

Collection will continue through Oct. 19 with distribution on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Salnave Elementary School, 1015 Salnave Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A second distribution will be on Monday, Oct. 31 at the Feed Cheney dinner at the Wren Pierson Community Center from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
