Lois Claire (Grose) Klein

Lois Claire (Grose) Klein (Age 82)  Went to be with her precious Lord on July 20, 2012, after a second stroke.

Born March 15, 1930 to Wesley and Pearl Grose in Spokane, Lois attended Havermale Jr. High and graduated from North Central High School in 1947. She was employed at Federal Old Line Insurance Co. when she met the love of her life. Veral and Lois were married on April 2, 1949 and began their life together on the farm in Edwall where they were blessed with three daughters.

Lois was a devoted wife and mother, a wonderful cook and seamstress, teaching her daughters valuable homemaking skills and music.  Known for her beautiful music, Lois began playing piano for weddings and church at age 14.

She was involved in the community women's group, Edwall library, 4-H, and used her musical talents at school and community events, even playing her baritone in the Christian Heritage School pep band for her grandsons' basketball games. Church was always an important part of her life and she spent her high school years involved with youth events at First Assembly of God in Spokane.

After marriage, her many talents were put to use at Davenport Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School most her life and played the piano faithfully for 50 years.

Lois is survived by her loving husband Veral Klein; daughters:  Yvonne (Rob) Crumley of Medical Lake; Cindy (Steve) Robertson of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Patti (Michael) Bishop of Edwall, Wash.; five grandsons:  Eric (Julie) Robertson, Ryan (Melanie) Robertson, Jason (Jill) Bishop, Brett (Angela) Bishop, and Grant (Jessica) Bishop; five great grandchildren; and her two brothers:  Vernon (Phyllis) Grose of Washington D.C. and Jerry (Shirley) Grose of Calif.

A beautiful woman of God, faithful, dependable, committed, and always interested in others, we will miss her love and devotion to us all. Memorial contributions may be made to Lake City Assembly World Missions, Hospice House of Spokane, or Christian Heritage School.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 24 at the funeral home. Her life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Thursday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at the Edwall Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Lake City Assembly of God Church in Medical Lake.
