Nina Caraballo-Iles

 


Nina Caraballo-Iles, 46, died at Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom on June 14, 2012. The cause was stomach cancer; by her side was her best friend and loving husband Christopher Iles.  Nina was born May 13, 1966 in Novato California to Lee and Helen (Rueppel) Fletcher.  She was raised for the most part in Cheney and graduated from Cheney High School, class of 1984.  After graduation she received a CNA certificate and worked at the local nursing home. Nina and her family relocated several times but lived mainly in small communities surrounding the Spokane area.

In 2008, Nina met the love of her life and relocated to Gloucestershire, UK. Nina's interests included family, gardening, knitting, and photography. She devoted much of her time and energy to family genealogy.      

Nina is survived by her husband Christopher Iles, sons, Daniel Fletcher (Jessica Fox-Fletcher) of Davenport, Richard Howell (Lynn Sakamoto-Howell) of Colfax, father Lee Fletcher of  South Carolina, sisters Nancy Titus of Cheney, Carol Robinette (Larry) and Ella Roberts (Timothy) of Spokane, grandchildren, Zoe, Noah, Maddie, Skylre,Taylre and numerous nieces and nephews.  Nina was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Howell; mother, Helen Stringer, brother in-law Leroy Titus and a nephew, Raymond Fletcher.


Memorial Services will be held at Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, in the United Kingdom, on July 2, 2012. Rather than flowers, the family will welcome donations at FOCUS which is part of the Cheltenham Oncology Unit were Nina was treated, this can be done in care of: Cooperative Funeral Services
