Thanks for making Founder's Day 2012 another success

Thank you people of Medical Lake for making Founder's Day 2012 another fantastic celebration.

Thank you to our friends and neighbors of Reardan-Edwall, Davenport and Chewelah for sharing your beautiful floats with us. Thank you to Barbara Reis, Sandy King, Joyce Calloway, Kathy Petek and family, Bill Trout and family, Alexia Gonzales and family, all the people who volunteered from the PTSO and SCOPE.

The “girls” at Owl Pharmacy, what can I say. Sharon, Katrina and Bree all jumped in to volunteer. They put together and sent out mailers. They went to all merchants asking for donations. They did an excellent job selling books, raffle tickets and T-shirts, designing signs and programs. Thank you Owl Pharmacy for your great support the past three years.

To Denny McDaniel and his clerks, thank you for selling merchandise for us. Denny, thanks for the coffee, doughnuts and water.

Zella Drinkard and the crew at LinDeBee's, thank you for your support and great breakfast.

Thanks to the Medical lake School District for the use of their grounds and the concession stand.

A very special and heart-filled thanks to city employees Dan Dorshorst and Ashlee King. Couldn't have done it without your help.

You can not put on a function like this by yourself and I have had the honor over the past three years of working with an outstanding group of volunteers. Please say thank you to these people when you see them.

I hope I have not forgotten anyone, if I have I apologize.

Remember, “volunteers are heroes.”

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Robert Kibling
