Hosting their first meet of the year at Whitworth University, the Spokane Cheney Waves swim team held their Shamrock Shake Up meet March 11-13. Twenty-four Cheney swimmers were among the 282 total registered competitors from Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
Ribbons were awarded for first through sixth place finishes in each event. Cheney swimmers came home with 52 ribbons for their efforts. “This meet was our all-time best in terms of participation,” Waves coach Kevin Eddy said.
